For soccer training you generally need jersey, trousers, cuffs, shin pads, socks, football boots with spikes, football and a goal. Fans usually include Jersey, national flag, merchandise, football scarf and headgear for soccer. Popular soccer variants are beach soccer, robotic soccer, 9er ball and Footvolley.

Popular soccer clubs in Germany are turbine Potsdam, FC Bayern München, BVB Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, Hamburger SV, RB Leipzig, FC Union Berlin and many other clubs of the first and second Bundesliga.
